This article will guide you through navigating the Messages feature, enabling you to effectively communicate, collaborate, and interact with fans, fellow creators, and friends on Fanbucket.

Accessing the Messages Section: To access the Messages section and start engaging in conversations, follow these steps:

Log in to your Fanbucket account.
Click on the Messages button, represented by an envelope icon, located in the left-hand zone of the Fanbucket website.

Overview of the Messages Section: Upon reaching the Messages section, you'll encounter a user-friendly interface that facilitates easy communication.

Here's an overview of the key elements you'll find in the Messages section:

  1. Conversations List: On the left-hand side of the page, you'll see a list of your ongoing conversations. Each conversation represents a thread of messages with a specific user. This list allows you to quickly navigate and access your conversations.

  2. Conversation Preview: When you click on a conversation from the list, the conversation preview will appear on the right-hand side of the page. The conversation preview displays the messages exchanged between you and the selected recipient(s). You can view the text, images, and other media shared within the conversation.

  3. Message Input Box: Located at the bottom of the conversation preview, the message input box is where you can compose and send messages to the selected recipient(s). Simply type your message in the text input box and press the Enter key or click the send button to send it.

  4. Message Options: Within each conversation, you'll have access to various message options to enhance your communication. These options may include:

    • Reply to Specific Messages: You can reply to specific messages within the conversation, allowing for better organization and context in your discussions.

    • Forward Messages: If you want to share a message from the current conversation with another user, you can use the forward option to send it to them.

    • Delete Messages: If needed, you can delete specific messages from the conversation. This option can be helpful when you want to remove irrelevant or sensitive content.

    • Send Tips with Fanbucket Coins: Fanbucket provides a feature that allows you to send tips to users you are in contact with. You can do this by selecting the coin currency icon, usually located next to the message input box. Please note that the minimum tip amount is 80 coins per transaction.

Note, You must have purchased coins or have them available in your wallet prior to sending a tip out to a user or content creator.
  1. Additional Conversation Options: For each user listed in the conversation list, you'll find a set of options represented by the "..." button to the right of the conversation. These options may include:

    • View Profile: This option allows you to view the profile of the selected user, providing more information about them and their content.

    • Mark As Read: You can use this option to mark the conversation as read, helping you keep track of unread messages.

    • Hide Conversation: If you prefer to temporarily hide a conversation from your list without deleting it, you can choose the hide conversation option. If the user messages you, the conversation will re-appear, or if you want to continue, you will need to visit that user's profile and select "Message" to resume messaging the user.

    • Block Conversation: In situations where you no longer wish to receive messages from a particular user, you can block the conversation, preventing further communication.

    • Delete Conversation: If you want to permanently remove a conversation from your Messages section, you can select the delete conversation option.

    • Report User: If you encounter any inappropriate or abusive behavior during your conversations, you can report the user to Fanbucket for review and appropriate action.

Remember to engage in conversations respectfully and adhere to Fanbucket's community guidelines. Meaningful and positive interactions contribute to a vibrant and supportive community.

Initiating a New Conversation: To initiate a conversation with another user, follow these steps:

  • Click on the "+" button: Locate the "+" button, usually positioned at the top of the Messages section. This button allows you to start a new message.

  • Select the recipient: In the recipient field, enter the username or display name of the user you want to message. As you type, Fanbucket will provide suggestions based on your input. Choose the desired user from the suggestions or type in the complete username.

  • Compose your message in the input box and click "Send" to initiate the conversation.

Note: You can only send messages to users you are following. If you are unable to message a user you are following, it is possible that they have restricted you from sending them messages. Respect their preferences and engage with other users who are open to communication.

Managing Conversations: As your conversations list grows, it's important to effectively manage and organize your messages. Here are a few tips to help you stay organized:

  • Marking Conversations as read: If you want to remove the alert indicator regarding a new message, you can mark it as read.
  • Deleting Conversations: If you no longer need a conversation or want to remove it from your list entirely, right-click on the conversation and select the "Delete" option.

Enhancing Communication: To make your messages more expressive and engaging, Fanbucket offers additional communication features:

  • Adding Emojis and Stickers: Fanbucket provides a selection of emojis and stickers that you can use to add personality and emotion to your messages.
